Hello. My name is Patrick Gleeson, and I'm the author of a cosy crime trilogy called "The Theatreland Mysteries".

My publisher has asked me to pitch them a new cosy crime series, and I'm trying to decide which of my ideas I should lead with.

Below is a selection of the ideas I'm working on. I would really appreciate if you could give me some feedback on them!

It should only take 2 minutes, and it would really help me out!

Idea 1: Axes of Anglia

A north Norfolk hard rock band (made up of talented but dysfunctional misfits) wants to escape the farmers’ pub gig circuit and make it big. Their slow, indirect rise to success is dogged by a series of unexplained deaths. Like it or not, they must unravel each mystery if they are to succeed in the wild world of rock’n’roll.

Idea 2: The Beginners' Happiness Club

A rural community wellness club discovers that, when it comes to solving their problems, positive affirmations, gratitude and mindfulness aren’t nearly as effective as blackmail, arson, and occasional accidental-on-purpose murder.

Idea 3: The Plockton Primary Mysteries

The hard-working head teacher of a rural primary school, who would do anything to help her pupils thrive, keeps finding dead bodies in the classrooms. She must solve each mystery without disrupting any lessons…

Idea 4: Jeremy's Baby Club And Detective Agency

Jeremy runs a baby club which is at the heart of a small rural Suffolk countryside community. Mums (and dads) congregate to gossip and to vent, and together – to take their minds off the hardships of parenting – they investigate strange goings-on in the village.

Idea 5: The Hebridean Whodunnits

Two types of people inhabit the Outer Hebrides: traditional islanders, whose families have been crofting for generations, and newcomers, often hippies and outcasts, drawn by the wild remoteness. Each sort is eccentric in its own way, but the fragile peace between the two is rocked by a series of strange deaths.
