Loen (Frome)
I’m 19 and have just moved to the area so I’m hoping to meet some people my age! I’ve loved reading since I was introduced to jacqueline wilson’s books as a kid and although I havent managed to read as much as I wanted throughout my teens, I’m now rediscovering my love for fantasy and anything with a good strong plot. I’m also a part of the lgbtq+ community so if a book has queer characters thats a big plus for me!

Hannah (Birmingham)
Hi, My name is Hannah Majid and I'm a journalist at ITV News Central. We're working on a story about how the UK Society of Authors is campaigning to get books stamped with a 'Human Authored' logo to ensure readers know the difference between books produced by AI, versus books written by real people. Hundreds of authors are also backing the campaign. We'd like to film at your next book club meeting (preferably this week or early next week) and ask people: Do you think books written by humans should be labelled on the cover as AI books begin to enter the market? Why do you think it's important for people to know if a book has been written by a human? If this is something you can help us with, please let me know as soon as possible! Thanks, Hannah

Lewis (East Kilbride)
I'm a 31 years old, neurodiverse male. I love reading and discussing books. I was recently kicked out of a book club because of their rigidity and lack of inclusivity. Being autistic, I find social cues and settings difficult to interpret and can often say the wrong thing or make someone uncomfortable - this in no way reflects my true intentions, thoughts or feelings. I love to read fantasy, sci-fi, anything mythological is a winner! I also enjoy and collect graphic novels. I'm writing a book as well at the moment. I am a mathematician currently researching transcendental numbers. I am currently reading Neon Gods, Kiss of the Basilisk, and I Am Pilgrim. I hope I can find a bookclub that is accepting and welcoming.
