I Enjoy reading thrillers, crime, detective novels, occasionally family sagas etc. I choose an author to try out and often read every book they've written. I feel quite isolated as I am main carer for my disabled son, reading is my outlet, but would like to socialize more and meet new people, in such a way that it is totally removed from my everyday life of caring

I am looking to expend my social circle and get recommendations for other books. I like most genres however I tend to read true crime, detective mystery, history and horror/triller books the most. I am looking for somewhere that is potentially online to start to gain confidence and that meets a few times a month.
