BRG [Bookbusters Reading Group]

Gatherings are hosted by Julie Thompson in the Withernsea High School Library and the MMC. The groups mainly consist of students in Years 7 and 8 and is attended by roughly 15 attendees. Different topics related to literature are discussed quarterly, while activities around the chosen book are conducted in the weekly lunchtime session. Hedon Library- The Young Ones

Every first Friday of the month at 4 pm, a reading group for teenagers between 12-14 years meets at Hedon Library for an hour-long session. During the gathering, the group debates books from a wide range of genres, including graphic novels and any other type that the members may be interested in reading.
