Howden Library Chatterbooks

Meets at Howden Library on Run by Hayley Nicholson Library service Chatterbooks reading group for 8-11 year olds. Meet once a month, on each second Monday evening between 6pm and 7pm to discuss books, play games and generally have fun. Each month has a topic, theme or author about which the activities and discussions are based. For more information, contact Howden Library. BRG [Bookbusters Reading Group]

Gatherings are hosted by Julie Thompson in the Withernsea High School Library and the MMC. The groups mainly consist of students in Years 7 and 8 and is attended by roughly 15 attendees. Different topics related to literature are discussed quarterly, while activities around the chosen book are conducted in the weekly lunchtime session. The event takes place at Hull Road, Withernsea, East Riding of Yorkshire, HU19 2EQ.

Hedon Library- The Young Ones

Every first Friday of the month at 4 pm, a reading group for teenagers between 12-14 years meets at Hedon Library for an hour-long session. During the gathering, the group debates books from a wide range of genres, including graphic novels and any other type that the members may be interested in reading. Pocela Centre evening reading group

Caroline Horwood is welcoming new members to join the adult reading group at the Pocela Centre/Pocklington Library on the fourth Tuesday evening of the month from 6:00 – 7:00 pm. Saturday Morning Book Club

Come join us! The Saturday Morning Book Club, hosted by Caroline Horwood at the Pocklington Library, is filled with all the reading fun you can imagine for kids ages 5 to 12. You'll be able to discuss your favorite books, find out about other great titles, participate in quizzes, play a variety of games and just have a good time.
