Gemma (Motherwell)

Truthfully I only used to really read when I was on holiday, but have been enjoying it more, be it books/audio. I sometimes go through phases, where I can’t get enough of a good book, and then other times I don’t read one for ages. This is a habit I want to break as I enjoy the escapism. I enjoy psychological thrillers & murder mystery, recently started to get into fantasy. Up for reading most books apart from horror/paranormal. Happy to make friends and to receive any recommendations.

Hollylouise (Motherwell)

I have just fell back in love with reading last year, I used to read all the time when I was younger but fell away from it for a while. Started reading the housemaid by Freida McFadden after seeing all of the hype on it and it totally blew my mind. I absolutely loved it and have read about 40 books since December! My favourite genres are psychological thrillers and smut books.

Hi, I am women in my early thirties. I enjoy readings books and not really sticking to one genre. I think book club is a great way to learn about new authors and its interesting to see how different people interpret the same book. I recently moved to Scottish borders close to West Linton and would like to join local book club.

Abby (Motherwell)

I love reading - you will not see me without a book 🤣. I love romance and I am dipping my toes into fantasy starting with ACOTAR - I need to see what the hype is all about. I want to meet new people who are on the same boat. I don’t mind there being a bit of dark and twisty, crime seeking sort of stuff (by this I mean A good girls guide to murder) I am not a horror fan at all would go as far as saying that I’m scared of my own shadow. If you’re the same or similar to me in anyway please reach out and have a chat! 🫶🏽

The two characters banter and their slow burn love story has made me believe in love again! I will talk anyone’s ears off about this book.

It's an amazing fantasy romance that's light enough for a beginner but well written enough to keep you on the edge of your seat.
