Hi I love reading and average anywhere from 1 to 3 books a week. I work in Mental Health and am looking to make new friends in Barnsley. I moved here 20 years ago but only seem to meet people through work. I am an empath, but I'm chatty and would like to find friends who also love reading.

I read every single day, also writing my own novel. I’m looking to expand my reading genre and to speak with people who have the Same love of literature as I do. I’m 33 years old so I’m in the age where None of my friends have time to read so I have nobody to discuss my thoughts with. My favourite books are the happy ever after “easy readers” but I also have an appreciation for some Shakespeare, my favourite is McBeth, and poetry about Love. I don’t enjoy sci-fi novels as I like a story which is believable and relatable in some circumstances. I live with my boyfriend and my dog close to the town centre and work in further education which is incredibly rewarding, but stressful at times which is one of the reasons I love reading so much. It’s an escape from the monotony of life, and every book I read makes me a better writer
