I read almost all kinds of books and enjoy stepping out of my comfort areas to explore the recommendations of others. I don't have a book club but would like to be part of one. I'm pretty open minded with books and will read most things. I tend to lean towards contemporary fiction, dystopian and classics. I try and read one non-fiction every month too. Set in 1980s New York it touches on ambition, racism, social class, politics, and greed. A lot of the themes still feel very relevant today - sadly! It's a chunky book but once you start reading you're hooked.
