Hi, I have been pondering for some time to join a book club but I am not sure what is on offer in the local area. Looking at Wanstead, Gants Hills Woodford areas. I read a variety of books, especially those that make me giggle a bit. Ruby Wax is one of my favourite authors, but I also like crime novels, mystery and travel stories. I am 46 years old. Many thanks for reading this profile and your suggestions.

I recently resumed my reading after a long pause, started again this year. I'm at a point in my life where I want to reconnect with my passions, particularly in art, with a strong interest in music and reading. I enjoy various book genres, but history and politics are my favorites. I’m looking to connect with someone who lives in West London and ideally has a French-speaking background, as it would be great to meet someone from a French-speaking country who shares similar interests.

I read shantaram twice... I am indian, and lived in Mumbai for my undergraduate days. I find the book very wierd, insightful and do not like the crime, (but it is a crime story) and the language is so rough. I love books by Z smith, because they are so funny.

I always loved reading but it took a back seat for a long time for some reason. I've quit drinking alcohol and have picked up books again! Yay! Mainly reading a bunch of sober lit at the moment and in the past was obsessed with thrillers and horror but excited to broaden my horizons and I would love to make some new friends šŸ’œ
