It has everything in one book series. And I could go on for hours about this book series and this book. It’s exceptional. Fantasy but done in a way that could make sense. Strong female characters. Amazing world building and relationships.

Written in Colour Book Club (London)

Written In Colour is a community-led book club dedicated to celebrating global narratives and marginalized voices. We believe in literature as a vital art form and a powerful tool for community connection. Our sessions are designed to be "third spaces"—welcoming, high-quality environments where we move beyond the page to engage in meaningful cultural discourse. Whether we are hosting a "Silent Read" social, a community book swap, or a deep-dive discussion on masterpieces like Yaa Gyasi’s Homegoing, the focus is always on good books and better company. We are currently running sessions at the Woolwich Front Room (SE18) and the Black Cultural Centre (Islington). Inclusive & Accessible: All sessions are free to attend/donation-based. The Vibe: Low pressure, high inspiration. Who it’s for: Anyone who wants to diversify their bookshelf and connect with fellow residents in a relaxed, creative atmosphere. Come and help us turn stories into conversation.

My favourite genres are fantasy, romantasy, thriller and horror although I’m happy to try any book! I’d also be happy to start my own book club if I can’t find any to join

Carrot25 (London)

I am a 22 year old university student wanting to discuss books and make new friends! I love reading however I don’t spend as much time reading as I would like, so joining a book club seems like the perfect opportunity to motivate myself into doing it more. My favourite genres are fantasy (especially dark fantasy/fairytale books) and adventure. I enjoy reading classics from time to time, and also manga. :))
