Hey! I’m 30 and LOVE to read - I sometimes struggle to put my kindle/book down. I tend to stick to the same genres, but mostly love enemies to lovers romance, romantic suspense and just books that make me cry. Would love to meet up and pick a book to read and discuss :)

1st book in the Never After Series. It’s own version of Peter Pan but a much darker version, with a little bit of spice and where the villain gets a happy ever after.

I am an aspiring author who enjoys writing about the supernatural horror market. I also enjoy action based novels like the jack reacher series. I'm joining to find like minded people who enjoy reading but also those who would spare the time to read my first draft of my new book called 'SUNNY'. An action packed supernatural horror novel.

Amanda (Daventry)

Have moved from an area with a well-established book club which I’d attended monthly for more than 12 years - and am still a member of, but it’s now too far go regularly. They read and discuss a very wide variety of books and I’ve enjoyed reading a lot of books with them which I probably wouldn’t have chosen. I’d love to find another one nearer where I now live.

Audible Fan (Northampton)

for the last 2 years I have been "reading" via Audible so that i can listen whilst walking my dog. It has taken some getting used to not having a book in my hand! I love thrillers, psychological books, some romantic comedy if it has good reviews; recently read the last Robert Galbraith - The Running Grave - excellent, often end up reading books that end up as tv series.

Esme (Northampton)

Hi, I'm a 25 years old MA English Grad and Library / Archive assistant looking to meet other readers! I read a lot, mostly galleys, and rather than a structured book club, I'm looking to set up a bookish space, where local readers can discuss what they're reading, without the pressure. Maybe more of a book seminar than a strict book club! I'd love to talk to other people in the local area about what they're reading, their book opinions, or even just life!

My favorite thing about this fantasy duology is that the plot is fresh, the conversations are relatable, the world's are magical as they are creepy and the romance was good. In all, I had a lot of fun reading it

Abi Daré's The Girl With the Louding Voice is a compelling and inspiring debut novel that captures the indomitable spirit of a young Nigerian girl striving to overcome insurmountable odds. This richly textured narrative is both a stark reflection on the socio-economic challenges faced by women in Nigeria and a testament to the resilience and tenacity of the human spirit.
