Uts interesting to discuss each readers opinion if the book, as it allows us to think from a different perspective. I also dont mind helping out with organising forthcoming meetings or any other tasks to make the club a success

I read almost all kinds of books and enjoy stepping out of my comfort areas to explore the recommendations of others. I don't have a book club but would like to be part of one. I would love to start a book club where like minded people could meet together and recommend, read and discuss our passion. Once we have some member I would be happy to organise a venue and host the first one. I am thinking a Wednesday evening around 6.30/7.00 would be a good time however am happy to go with the flow once I see what interest there is. I do hope we can get this off the ground and enjoy a new hobbie in 2025! Please come join me

Set in 1980s New York it touches on ambition, racism, social class, politics, and greed. A lot of the themes still feel very relevant today - sadly! It's a chunky book but once you start reading you're hooked.
