I am dyslexic and struggle to keep in the habit of reading, so would like to join a small group to both discuss and encourage me to keep in the habit of reading. Then I can maybe finish some of the books I have bought and have remained on my shelf unread.

Hello, I would like to expand my social circle and I thought joining a book club might be a nice way of meeting new people while doing what I love, i.e. reading. I also have found myself in a reading slump the past few years and I believe a book club can provide me with the schedule I need to pick up this hobby again. I do enjoy pretty much all genres and I am open to broadening my horizons.

Looking for a cosy, relaxed book club to join. I’m not someone that can always devour a brand new book each month but still love chatting and discussing books that I have finished whether it’s a “simple” book or more complex.

I'm looking to join a club to meet like minded souls. I love thrillers, spies, murder mysteries, and mythology, but I'll try any genre.

Hi! I'm Jess, and I love lost in a good story, but my reading habits have come in waves. I’ve devoured The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Harry Potter, and went through a phase of binging every Dave Gorman/Danny Wallace book I could find (their humour had me laugh-crying so much!). Over the last decade, I’ve fallen into a bit of a rut, mostly reading self-help and parenting books. They’ve been helpful, but I miss reading for pure pleasure. I’d love to join a book group to rekindle that joy and chat about the deeper side of stories—themes, tropes, and how they mirror society—without getting too serious about it. Looking forward to sharing a laugh and discovering new favourites! (BTW: I'm actually in Kent, halfway between Ashford and Maidstone but neither option was available in the drop-down menu)

Love reading most stuff but science fiction really doesn’t appeal. Looking to make some new friends along the way.

Missing being part of a book club whether online or in person and wanting to get myself reading more books again. Into lots of genres from literary fic to fantasy but tend to stay away from romantic books and rom-coms, not totally adverse though!

I like romance and crime, I love to read and love discussing the book but I have no one else I know who has such a passion for books as me!
