Nick
Hi, I’m Nick. The genre I’m most drawn to at the moment is Western fiction. Cormac McCarthy is a particular favourite, though I’ve read many of the classic authors in the genre. Over the years I’ve gone through phases with fantasy and science fiction as well, and I’m always happy to venture into something different if it comes highly recommended. Some of my favourite discoveries through other readers’ suggestions have been A Month in the Country and The Sombrero Fallout—books I might never have picked up on my own, but ended up loving. I’m married with two children, so like many people at this stage of life, I’ve found that family life leaves a bit less time and opportunity to meet new people. I’d love to connect with others who share a genuine enthusiasm for books and enjoy swapping recommendations and talking about what they’re reading.

Hello I’m Ashleigh and I turn 30 this year. I’m from a village in south Cambridgeshire and would love to start up a book club! The kind of genres I’d love to include are physiological thrillers and romance mainly but am always open to give something new a try! I’m thinking monthly meet ups, group chats and just pure fun! It’s a great way to make new friends and share our love for books together! Let me know if this is something you’d be interested in!

Bibliophile-22
I recently moved to the city, near Cherry Hinton. I used to read a variety of genres before like biographies, classics and historic non fiction, but I have been reading only fantasy books since Covid. I want to join a book club so that I can go back to reading different types of books. I am open to meet once a month or once in 2 weeks.

English learners book club
I have created a free, online book club for English Learners. We will be reading a book every 4-6 weeks and discuss it in a very relaxed way. I am an English teacher with more than 20 years of experience and I will be happy to guide the sessions and help learners develop their speaking skills.

Alone, I tend to read more 'literary' fiction, but I want to join a group to get new ideas! A previous club really shook up the genres, in a (mostly) good way, and I miss finding the unexpected gold. Plus always interesting to see others' differing reactions to mine

Free online International book club for female readers
We choose and read a book every 5/6 weeks and then meet on Zoom to talk about. It’s a cozy group with women all ages from all over the world.

Hi everyone! I’m quite new to reading, but I’ve recently developed a real interest in getting into books. I’m hoping to read more regularly and connect with people who enjoy discussing what they’ve read. Looking forward to sharing this journey with you all.

I'm 63, and recently moved to the UK. I like a variety of books in the non-fiction world, although within fiction I tend to read mainly crime, espionage or historical fiction I'd love to make contact with others to share book conversations.
