Books Without Borders

The meeting spot is the Cambridge Central Library, led by Victoria Richardson and Ruth Cowan. This library service runs with a focus on fiction and a variety of genres. Members choose the books, which are supplied by the Cambridgeshire Libraries, and anyone is welcome to join the group. Teen Reading and Writing Groups @ Central Library

Meets at Cambridge Central Library on Run by Jenna Lawrence Library service Cambridgeshire County Council - Libraries Reading and writing groups for teens at Cambridge Central Library. The reading group meets once a month, reading a selection of new and old books chosen by the reading lead, Diana, in consultation with the members. There are two reading groups: 10+ and 13+ The writing group meets fortnightly. Each session a theme is selected by the lead, Jenna, and the group either writes some flash fiction or brings a pre-written piece. At the end, the group reads each others work and discuss each piece. Barnwell Road Book Babes

Victoria Richardson and Ruth Cowan host a library group at Barnwell Road in Cambridge. Adults and children alike are welcome to join - there are books to borrow and playtime in the Children's Library. Every session's book selection is mutually decided and obtained from Cambridgeshire Libraries. Glittering Prizes

Meets at The Alexandra Arms Pub on Run by Irene Wilkes Library service We are a friendly and enthusiastic reading group based in the centre of Cambridge UK. We meet monthly on the 2nd Tuesday of the month, at 12 noon for 12:15 pm.at the The Alexandra Arms pub on the corner of Gwydir and Milford Streets. http://www.alexandraarmscambridge.co.uk/ We read books from the current year Prize lists, both shortlists and longlists. The Prizes are from all over the world and include the Man Booker, the Nobel, the Pulitzer, the Golden Dagger, the Costa, the Miles Franklin and the James Tait, just as examples. We supply our own novels, or share. Sometimes the current novels may be available from the library.
