Hello , I have retired recently and looking to link up with other avid book readers . I am predominantly a reader of fiction with reasonably eclectic interests . These range from the classics ( Austin , Brontes , Wilkie Collins ) ; historical fiction (I particularly like the classical novels of Mary Renault , Natalie Haynes etc and the Tudor novels of CJ Samson and Hilary Mantel . I also read a lot of contemporary fiction , just finished Sarah Perry new novel Enlightenment , Colm Toibins Long Island and currently reading the new novel by William Boyd . Happy to meet up monthly or twice monthly. Happy
