I’m looking for a local book group. I’m interested in most things fiction and nonfiction. I have a particular fondness for sci-fi and horror but will give most things a read.

I like to read books on self help, religion, spirituality. Currently reading 'How to read a book' by Mortimer J Adler (1940's edition). I didn't learn to read properly/hated reading at school. I'm looking to increase my reading level for knowledge. I'm early 30's and want to be a part of a book club to push myself.

Lydney wi reading group

Meets at Maureen Jackson on Run by Lydney WI reading group Library service Gloucestershire County Council - Libraries We have grown to a group of fourteen ladies. We meet every six weeks at the local library. The range of books which we have been reading since we formed, has been wide and varied. We always have a very lively discussion about each book. We all agree that we have read books, that if we were only choosing for ourselves, we would not have read. The book club has widened our reading interests. We have also started to enjoy trips to hear authors who are speaking locally. We meet at: Aylands lodge, Springfield road, Lydney, Gloucestershire, Gl155lt Accepting new members Tags women only
