Jacqueline

I am moving to Anglesey at the end of this month and looking to find a book club to join. I am currently member of a fabulous book club in Shrewsbury I enjoy many genres, but my preferences are generally, historical fiction and thrillers. Some of my favourite reads are: FIngersmith by Sarah Waters, All of the ken Follett trilogies, All the light we cannot see Anthony Doerr, Hamnet Maggie O'Farrell I hope to meet people with a similar love for reading to discuss different elements in the book and to support a dying reading culture

Gill Fuller's Reading Group

Our group, run by Gillian Fuller, has been around for five years and consists of 10 female members. Monthly meetings take place at one of our homes, usually Gillian's. We rely on the great selection of books from Shropshire County Library, who provide us with about 300 options for our list. Over the past few years, we've read a variety of genres, including novels, biographies, and memoirs. Our conversations are always friendly and relaxed, but some members are quieter than others. We get together at Christmas for a meal and take August off. Gathering takes place at 4 Eric Lock Road in Bayston Hill, Shrewsbury, Shropshire.
