DEF (Rugby)

After many years of caring for family and business commitments I am now basically retired and rediscovered my joy of reading. I read many of the classics at school. Wouldn’t mind re-reading them but keener to be introduced to modern authors so would really like to become a member of a book club.

This is a type of book that I would not have picked up of the shelf but my brother recommended it to me, so read it I did.

Looking for new friends, online or in person :) I love to read, anything from non fiction to fiction, classics to cosy romance. I would love to read together with people and have someone to share my interests with and vis versa, so if you're also looking for friends please reach out. My main genres are classics and anything that makes me think more deeply about the human experience, but im down for a light-hearted read as well

Yazybookish (Leamington Spa)

I am on a mission to get back into reading! Due to mental health issues I haven’t been able to finish a book since Covid and I want to rediscover my passion for reading. I particularly want to get reacquainted with the classics but I’m happy to give most fiction novels a go except sci-fi and fantasy.
