Yazybookish (Leamington Spa)

I am on a mission to get back into reading! Due to mental health issues I haven’t been able to finish a book since Covid and I want to rediscover my passion for reading. I particularly want to get reacquainted with the classics but I’m happy to give most fiction novels a go except sci-fi and fantasy.

Ellie (Warwick)

I’m looking to join a book group to connect with like-minded people, share thoughts on what we’re reading, and discover new authors I might not have picked up otherwise. I enjoy both fiction and memoir—especially stories with emotional depth or strong female leads—and I love a book that sparks a proper conversation. I’d be keen to meet up monthly and make a few new friends along the way!

Duncan (Warwick)

I am mainly interested in classics, or anything that says something about the human condition. I've recently been enjoying translations of various classics of the Ancient Greek and Latin corpora, but in general I enjoy Georgian, Victorian, and Edwardian fiction, as well as later 20th century classics. I enjoy some genre fiction, primarily fantasy. I don't have a lot of free time, but I would like to meet people on occasion and make new friends!
