Tel (Westbury)

Aged 74, retired, disabled, not wheelchair dependent, have been a committed reader (even cereal boxes) all my life, predominantly non-fiction, seek quality 'belle lettre' scribbles to mystery / horror / detective stories (including defective detectives), and insist on autobigraphies that do not include the famous and the celebrities. Would seek something in the afternoon.

Lily (Swindon)

I am 21 and looking to make more girl-friends! Being in a bookclub is a bonus as I need motivation to get back into reading! I enjoy classics such as the Odyssey and the Aeneid as well as more modern day books such as the First to Die at the End and Game of Thrones. Honestly I am down to read anything but you'll find me mostly in the fantasy sections

Golfgal (Salisbury)

Hi I’m in my early 60’s but fit and young at heart. I love golf, yoga, swimming, travelling, theatre and, of course, reading. Doing my A Levels I loved talking about the books we’d read, analysing, sharing views but these days it’s read a book and move on. I’d like to join a social book club where we can discuss books but not take ourselves too seriously.

Vez (Warminster)

I am moving to the area, and only have my partner and his family! so would like to connect with like minded girlies. I love romance, but also self help (courage to be disliked etc) but also love the classics. Love a cozy vibe like chatting over coffee or a cheeky wine, best of both worlds.

Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine.
by Gail Honeyman | Buy this book
As a new reader, Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine felt like a story about really seeing people—and letting yourself be seen too. Gail Honeyman shows that people who seem “odd” or distant often have a lot going on beneath the surface, shaped by pain, strength, and a need to belong.
