Farrah

Hi I’m Farrah I am an avid read across all genres. My favourites though are: High fantasy, romance thrillers, dystopian and sci fi. I am looking to join a book club to meet new bookish people and discuss and read new novels maybe every month!

Farrah recommends:

The Will Of The Many by James Islington

This book has opened up a whole new narrative for me through the vivid imagery descriptions used crossed with the Roman period setting. This book also provides a new view of a political stance within fiction through vis’s eyes. This book reevaluated my whole knowledge and experience of epic fantasy and also expanded my craving for good dark academia.

I am 21 and looking to make more girl-friends! Being in a bookclub is a bonus as I need motivation to get back into reading! I enjoy classics such as the Odyssey and the Aeneid as well as more modern day books such as the First to Die at the End and Game of Thrones. Honestly I am down to read anything but you'll find me mostly in the fantasy sections

A fun, clever mystery with heart-warming characters and gentle humour. It’s cosy, smart, and easy to get lost in — the kind of book that makes you smile while trying to solve the puzzle.

I'm an 18 year old genderless person looking to expand my genre awareness and make new friends! I would like to meet people in my area who also enjoy reading and would introduce me to their own favourite books or poems. I have a particular interest in Poetry, Sci-Fi & Dystopian Fiction, but also enjoy Fantasy, Horror and Historical Fiction too :]

Astronomical_Autumn recommends:

This Is How You Lose the Time War
by Amal El-Mohtar & Max Gladstone | Learn more and buy
A very miserable, very beautiful Sci-Fi romance that I have yet to recover from reading.. the format itself is great, presented as a letter exchange, and the progression of the story going between timelines, mixing the past and the future where our central characters leave points of contact for one another in a bittersweet exchange is just perfect. A brilliant read I would recommend to anybody (^_^) !!!

Wiltshire girls

Looking to make a book club for a group of girls in their 20s who love to read! We’ll meet up monthly to discuss a chosen book. I like all kinds of genres- thriller, romance, crime. We’ll keep it interesting! We’ll probably read mainly fictional books that are targeted towards women. Definitely open to other suggestions tho! Happy to find a location where we can all meet in the middle. Get in touch if you’re a girl in your 20s and would like to join! X

I’m open to lots of different book genres. But mainly things that would come under ‘women’s fiction’ - books with a female target audience. Looking to make or join a book club to regularly meet with other women in their 20s who like to read! X
