Penny

I’m a 27 year old who rediscovered my love of books in 2022, I love lots of genres including fantasy, thrillers, sci-fi and romance.

Tel

Aged 74, retired, disabled, not wheelchair dependent, have been a committed reader (even cereal boxes) all my life, predominantly non-fiction, seek quality 'belle lettre' scribbles to mystery / horror / detective stories (including defective detectives), and insist on autobigraphies that do not include the famous and the celebrities. Would seek something in the afternoon.

Tel recommends:

Accesible and subtle prose-poetry. "A cinematic road trip through America". (Irvine Welsh)

Diane

I am new to the area and looking to join a book group to share reading and discussion on a wide range of books. To share the fun and joy of reading.

Elizabeth

I mainly read historical fiction centred around women. I also try to read classics every now and again and would love to talk about those more.

Lucy

Hello! My name is Lucy. I’m looking to join a book club in order to meet people and make some like-minded friends.

It’s quite mind-bending, has a really interesting setting and the plot gives you a bit to think about.
