Chatterbooks Reading Gang

Ballyhackamore Library is gladly accepting new members aged 9-11 interested in books, crafts, quizzes and POPCORN to join them in discussing their latest read. Those interested simply need to sign up with the library before the meeting and bring an adult or carer along with them. Refreshments are provided at no cost. Me Time Book Club

Falls Road Reading Group

The Falls Road Library hosts a group which is currently composed of six middle-aged ladies. All newcomers are welcome, and the group chooses various books with a mix of genres such as crime, classics, memoir, and non-fiction, taking titles from the shortlists of literary prizes, as well. It is a low-key and inviting atmosphere, and participants can enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and natter over it. The group meets on the last Wednesday of each month, between 11am and 12pm, at the 49 Falls Road Belfast address. New members are encouraged to join.

JillM of Library Service Northern Ireland (Libraries NI) hosts a gathering approximately every six weeks at Dock Cafe in the Titanic Quarter (2K Queen's Road, Belfast, Antrim, BT3 9DT). We welcome new members and discuss various genres, but generally focus on literary fiction.

Falls Road Irish Language Reading Group

Meets at Falls Road Library on Run by Anne Maxwell Library service At present the group consists of 3 women and 5 men. They meet on the last Saturday of each month in the Falls Road Library. The group runs itself without any input from the staff. Suggested titles for discussion come from the group and the library staff gather the required number of copies from their stock.It is a relaxed friendly group which is open to new members with an interest in and understanding of the Irish language.
