Hello, I’m Iain, in my 40s and looking to meet up with others who enjoy books for a chat. I read quite a diverse variety of genres from classics, literary fiction, crime/thriller/mystery and non-fiction too - popular science, history etc. Not so keen on romantic novels though! I work during the day, so an evening or weekend for a monthly meet-up would be great.

I am 38 years old. Currently at the open University studying. I unfortunately have stage 4 endometriosis and have had multiple surgeries and still awaiting 3 more surgeries. This sadly makes it hard for me to do much as a lot of the time im too unfit to go out anywhere or do many activities but the one thing that has kept me going and that has found me happiness and an escape is reading. I love it. I read anything fiction, non fiction, biography, romance, crime. I have been looking to join a book club for a long time but have struggled to find one so would love for anyone who is in a club or wishes to make one to get in touch.

I’m 67 years old recently widowed, mum of two a son and daughter, grandmother of four two boys and two girls. I read a wide variety of books from romances, thrillers to sci-fi fantasy. With recently being widowed l have become very insular, what l need is a reason to get out and meet people. A book club would be ideal.
