Lucie

I’m a mum to a 14 month old. I love reading, recently got into fantasy but I love psychological thrillers and crime, romance and romantasy! I’d love to meet other bookish friends who I can meet up with and talk about books with! 📚

Miranda

I'm a fantasy romance lover mostly, but I also enjoy the odd mystery, comedy, dystopia and sci-fi. Looking for people to yap with about cool stories and hopefully make some friends along the way!

Animal: The Autobiography of a Female Body by Sara Pascoe

This book is nothing like my usual genres, it's non-fiction and talks about evolution. BUT it is the only book I will recommend to 100% of the people I meet. Comedian Sara Pascoe talks through her experiences as a woman wanting to understand the evolution of our relationships, both with others and ourselves. It's hilarious and I actually learned so much without even realising it. Everyone should read this book as it gives such a raw and unfiltered look into sex, relationships, our bodies and how and why these have evolved over time. Everyone should read this book.

I’d love to make some friends to talk about books with, and maybe go on little reading dates :) I love fantasy, romance, romantasy, and thrillers. I’m a slow reader, on track for 24 books this year but still super happy with that!

Hiya, I’m Alex. I’d love to have a natter over coffee or wine with some bookish people in Ely. I love fantasy, sci-fi, romance, nf, you name it 🤗 (the only thing I can’t manage is horror!) I’m trying to reach a goal of 100 books this year and could do with some company/moral support!

Hi, I moved to Ely 1 year ago but have yet to find my people. I love to read fantasy, romantasy, dark academia and classic. Currently reading Babel I would love to find people to geek out over books with!

If we were villians

It's a incredibly intricate dark academia thriller, each time you read it you notice more hints to the the big question. Why is Oliver in prison? So, gripping

Amy D

I'm just starting to get back in to reading again, and I'd love to try a book club. I've mostly been reading romance books recently (easy things to get me back in to reading regularly), but I'm looking forward to reading more challenging genres.

Amy D recommends:
