I really enjoy the unreliable first person narrator - it makes the book flow differently to anything I've ever read before (the narrator has consistent memory problems and lies frequently.) The book paints an incredibly emotional and sympathetic portrait of an incredibly unsympathetic character - it captures the feeling of spiralling out of control in a really vivid way from a first person perspective.

A lovely easy ready (only look me 24 hours) of young men who meet by chance and have an instant spark, they face challenges over personal ambition and the classic of coming out and being in love and true to them selves versus the continuing with the status quo and living up to their family values but remaining gut wrenchingly in happy. Lots of funny moments as well as moment one who was a young gay man in the closet and resonate with too… I couldn’t but this book down.
