Teresa, 70, refusing to pass 33, says it all really. Joined the library at 7 snd never looked back. Sadly I'm now on large large print books. Like detective stories, romance, historical, biographies, series etc etc

Jackie A

Hi there, I am 58 yrs old and have always lived in the area, and would love to meet a group of people who enjoy discussing and debating different books and ideas. I’m an avid reader of fiction (contemporary and past novels) and non fiction, I really enjoy exploring a range of themes, particularly about relationships and the life challenges we all face, as well as ones such as psychology/sociology which tie into my profession. It would be great to share topics with a group with different interests and be introduced to new genres. Thank you.

Be tween the covers u3a book group

We are members of Lichfield u3a, currently a group of 11, who meet once a month at our group leader Jill Gregory's house to discuss a book from the library book set. We read a variety of genres and contemporary novels, and rate them all on our own 1-5 star system for our own enjoyment. We gather on the first Monday morning of each month, then treat ourselves to an end of year Christmas lunch in December. We all highly enjoy spending time together, not just discussing our monthly read, but also trading recommendations for films and theatre. We are currently, however, limited to 11 members and no longer accepting new members.
