It’s not just about romance, but about communication, class, identity, and the struggle to understand oneself while trying to connect with someone else. What really stands out is how normal everything feels, in the best way. There are no dramatic plot twists or exaggerated characters. It’s the quiet, everyday moments that carry emotional weight. The dialogue feels real, the silences speak volumes, and the story highlights how love doesn’t always follow a clear or easy path. It’s also a book that stays with you. Even after finishing it, you find yourself thinking about the characters and the choices they made. That lasting emotional impact is part of what makes it so powerful.
