Robert (Uttoxeter)
I'm 35 and I've loved reading my whole life! Really into Sci-fi, fantasy and history books, but I'll read a bit of everything, currently chipping away at all the Stephen King books, looking to make some new friends, find new stuff to read, and someone to talk about books with! Sadly, none of my friends like to read much.

Only just recently got into reading after having struggled with sitting down and reading a book for the longest time. Looking to get recommendations and hopefully have friends to motivate me to read new stuff. Spoilers: I'm a big horror fan I can't lie.

I’m 24 and I've started to get more into reading this year. I like mostly dystopian, historical, and philosophy books (if i can fully understand them lol) but I'm open to other books too. Id be interested in seeing what book clubs are here, find some new recommendations, and also potentially meet some new people

My daughter has just gone to university and I am looking to pick up some new hobbies, make new friends and make some space for me. I am a sporadic reader and not at all a literature buff. I like romance, life twisty stuff, crime etc.

Hiya, 23 year old here who have recently decided that she wanted to get into reading. I love romance like most other girls but I also love something psychologically challenging. I have been interested in some assassin stuff in the past but really I want to make friends who can get me out of the house and to expand my interests and have someone who I can talk to about my new found hobby. I have picked up a few books recently but it's been a challenge to start reading them because I'm a very unmotivated person. Due to mental health and physical issues I don't have much interest in anything but I've started to get back into old hobbies like painting and I know if I start reading I would love it like I used to in the past. I think I just need a push and having others recommend books or read them with me will be the push I need.

SueSte (Cannock)
My husband and I are young 60s, who are enthusiastic book readers, looking to start a book club in the Cannock area. Our favourite genre is modern crime, mystery and thriller fiction - authors including Stuart Macbride, Steve Cavanagh, Tom Wood, Val Mcdermid and many others. We are hoping to meet and make new friends that share similar interests.
