Hi, I’m Mandy, somehow 61! and live in Trentham. I have loved reading books all my life from young literature at a very early age to the fascinating Tudor wives of Henry V111 now and so much in between. I find that I don’t consistently read as much as I’d like to and so I am keen to find a book club to meet new friends, encourage me to read more and share this precious hobby.

Hi, I'm Tish. I work in the book industry. I enjoy literary fiction and SFF, especially speculative fiction. I'm currently reading 'Women Without Men' by Shahrnush Parsipur. We, 'TheMoffs', are looking for a book club as three adults in the same family. The younger of us writes and reads fantasy. The older of us loves short stories like 'Small Things Like These' by Claire Keegan. We are looking for a book club we can all enjoy, with a mix of genders and ages, for social reading.

I mainly read high fantasy, the name of the wind by patrick rothfuss is one of my favourite books, but i also dabble in scifi and fiction on occasion. I really want to broaden my reading horizons and read more from other genres so if you have any book recommendations i'm all ears! I'm also a big hobby collector, my most recent hobby is jewellery making but i also crochet and paint and dance. Hiya, 23 year old here who have recently decided that she wanted to get into reading. I love romance like most other girls but I also love something psychologically challenging. I have been interested in some assassin stuff in the past but really I want to make friends who can get me out of the house and to expand my interests and have someone who I can talk to about my new found hobby. I have picked up a few books recently but it's been a challenge to start reading them because I'm a very unmotivated person. Due to mental health and physical issues I don't have much interest in anything but I've started to get back into old hobbies like painting and I know if I start reading I would love it like I used to in the past. I think I just need a push and having others recommend books or read them with me will be the push I need.

I loved this book so much. Spoke alot around serious topics but in a way that doesn’t make me spiral 🤣 I loved the way she approached these hard topics and made them seem lighthearted yet still so so important. I loved the little romance twist and friendship building between the FMC and the bride as well as the nuggets of digging into the other characters lives and understanding that although people seem like they have everything, there is always something else going on behind the scenes and not everything you see is perfect. 🫶🏽

Better than the movies

This was a 5* for me. I had such a nice time reading this and it just brought such good vibes. I loved the bond the two main characters had and was super stressed at the twist in the middle. Iykyk. I loved they came together in the end just wish I could picture the FMC wearing something that’s not so outrageous like why could she not just be wearing normal clothes 😭😭😭
