Michelle

I can read anything as long as there is an interesting theme or storyline. I love to get lost in a book and am always gutted when I come to the end of a brilliant book or series. I loved the Wool trilogy by Hugh Howey and really enjoy dystopian themes as well as mysteries and chick lit - but will honestly pick up anything just to be reading.

Books and Biscuits

Meets at Library WGSG on Run by Laura Jane Ferguson Library service Wirral MBC - Libraries We are a staff and 6th Form student reading group at Wirral Grammar School for Girls. We meet weekly on a Friday at lunchtimes in the school library, we read books, discuss books, recommend books, and eat biscuits. We are a lively group and laugh a lot, even though we all have differing opinions on much of what we read. In October we were really lucky to be selected as 1 of 12 groups to shadow the Booker Prize 2020 and you can read our reviews of Real Life by Brandon Taylor on The Reading Agency website. We are currently reading My Name is Why by Lemn Sissay for non-fiction November and, of course, Lemn was one of the 2020 Booker Prize judges. We meet at: Wirral Grammar School for Girls, Heath Road, Bebington, Merseyside, CH63 3AF
