Hi! I'm looking to join (or possibly start) a book club as I'd like to meet other people who enjoy reading and also get out of my comfort zone when it comes to the types of books I read. Genres I enjoy include fantasy (most types), crime and thriller and I would probably be looking to meet about once a month, I'm local to Stroud but I drive so would be willing to travel as long as its not too far.

Recently I've been reading Paulo Cognetti and I really enjoyed Ingrid Persaud's Love After Love. I also enjoy reading YA. The only thing I'm not very interested in is detective or crime novels. I'm very happy to host at my house just outside of Stroud.

Since retiring and having a long term visual problem corrected I am really at last enjoying reading . All sorts Fiction, SF, Science, ecological, history, children’s and classics new and old. I think I am playing catch up and would love to join a group share my new enjoyment while finding new avenues to pursue. I do belong to a online group but want to connect with people in the real world.

The Romcom Book Club (Cheltenham)
Do you love to read? Do you like rom-com books? Then please join us for our in-person book club in Cheltenham! This isn't your ordinary romance book club. We'll be reading a wide variety of funny, sassy, and sexy romantic comedy books. Our monthly choices will cover a wide range of books available in this genre and will include multicultural, multiracial, and LGBTQ+ friendly books. We meet the last Thursday of every month at the Brewhouse and Kitchen in Cheltenham. The group has grown over the last couple of years and we now have a great core group of people that come every month. We’d love for you to join us as well!
