It's not often that a book grabs me from start to finish. Love a book based on real life events

It's one that's difficult to put down and doesn't give to many clues away.

A brilliant book, intelligent and so broad in scope. It’s a real masterful intertwining of alternative, re-imagined history. Funny and poignant in parts.

It had some really memorable and unexpected twists

I really enjoy the unreliable first person narrator - it makes the book flow differently to anything I've ever read before (the narrator has consistent memory problems and lies frequently.) The book paints an incredibly emotional and sympathetic portrait of an incredibly unsympathetic character - it captures the feeling of spiralling out of control in a really vivid way from a first person perspective.

It’s an enemies to lovers that would make your toes curl

I’ve never read a book like this and it had me totally gripped. It’s a mystery that honestly just had me guessing with every page and is - in my opinion - wonderfully written. If you do decide to read it, get ready to be intrigued, entertained and thoroughly confused (in the best way)!

Enemies to lovers, arranged marriage, fated mates and tones of spice.

Mafia romance and the whole plot is amazing🤌🏽

Lots of twist and turns and great writing.

A lovely easy ready (only look me 24 hours) of young men who meet by chance and have an instant spark, they face challenges over personal ambition and the classic of coming out and being in love and true to them selves versus the continuing with the status quo and living up to their family values but remaining gut wrenchingly in happy. Lots of funny moments as well as moment one who was a young gay man in the closet and resonate with too… I couldn’t but this book down.
