I’m 77 , married and for a hobby mostly read or take our dogs for a walk. Love socialising with old and new friends. Lived in Kings Lynn since 1995 but from London. I belong to an afternoon book club in Kings Lynn , we meet Friday afternoons , every fortnight. I’m happy to travel a little further for another club for variety.

Bob (Great Yarmouth)

I'm 73 and retired. I enjoy a good read and would like to have the opportunity to discuss the latest book, whatever that might be. I hope it will help me to connect with like minded people and add interest to my reading. I like science fiction, a thriller, a good romance and books on science. I am happy to travel as far as Norwich but would prefer somewhere more local, like Gorleston or Lowestoft.

Hannah (Norwich)

I'm a 35 yr old Mum of 2 looking to get back into reading now that my kids are getting a little older and I have a little me time once more. I'm into all sorts of genres, the classics, poetry, philosophy, romance, and educational non-fiction - in particular human biology - and looking for some good old fashioned escapism and to make new friends with like minded people in my area :)

John (Norwich)

I haven't read anything fiction based in a while, but would like to get back into it. My favourite genres are fantasy and science fiction, but am open to others. I would like to interact with people and converse about books and possible recommendations.

John recommends:

American Psycho
by Bret Eastern Ellis | Buy this book
This was the last fiction book I read. It is a very dark, psychological and cerebral read. But also deep and open to interpretation. I was hooked once I began reading it and couldn't wait to discover what morbidly fascinating scenarios the protagonist would create as he spiralled further.

Liam (Norwich)

I have fallen back in love with reading this year, and it would be nice to share that passion with others. There is no genre I won't try and I particularly like crime, historical fiction and biographies.

I love reading and chatting about a good book. I read for fun and not much more. I read almost purely fiction books and sci-fi/fantasy and crime are my favourites. I love the idea of a book club to diversity my reading!
