I have always loved reading since being a child, I love all genres, currently into detective, thriller and humorous novels. I am approaching turning 50 and feel that it is time to join a book club in order to meet other people with a passion for reading and discussing books.

NealD (Nottingham)

I love sci/fi, fantasy and non-fiction. Some of my favorite authors are Terry Pratchett, Joe Abercrombie, Naomi Klein and Gail Simone ( I read graphic novels too!). I'm looking to make friends into the same sort of stuff as me. I'd love to find a reading group, online or off, or just find someone who wants to go for a coffee and talk about Discworld books.

Wonderfully inventive fantasy murder-mystery, with an amazing main character. Has a lot to say about colonialism, religion and sexuality.

EmmaJane8 (Mansfield)

Hi, I’m Emma, I’m 27 from Mansfield (Nottinghamshire)! I’m an avid reader who loves getting lost in a great story—especially if it involves romance, thrilling twists, or a good old-fashioned murder mystery. Whether it’s a heartwarming love story, a spine-chilling thriller, or a cosy read with a cup of tea, I’m always on the lookout for my next favorite book. I can’t wait to share recommendations, discuss plot twists, and discover new reads!
