I have been reading since I was 14 - I'm now 23, and I've always wanted to join a reading club to share thoughts and ideas about all kinds of books with people who also enjoy getting lost in the pages! :)

I want to rediscover my love for reading, I have read and studied a lot of classics and now would like to find some new titles. And if I make some new friendships along the way then that would be an added bonus.

I love reading and I’m looking to join a book club! I particularly enjoy fictions, and have recently been getting into fantasies! Anything that is descriptive, poetic, poignant, thought provoking, emotive and inspiring - I’m there!

I like to read historical fiction, love fiction where there is a series of books with lots of character development, fiction based on real life experiences and also books which are just a really good tale or a twist in the tale.I will read anything and it would be great just to discuss some of the books I am reading. I read everyday. I would also like to meet some new people in the local area.

I'm a 24 year-old philosophy PhD student living in Beeston. I've read a lot of philosophy but am somewhat new to fiction. My favourite authors are Kazuo Ishiguro and Ursula K. le Guin. Will probably read anything as long as it's thought-provoking!

Jess (Nottingham)
Adore a romance of all tropes. Open Door, Closed Door/Fade to Black loved equally. Not afraid of a little spice as long as there is also a story. Love a friends to lovers romance but I am a sucker for Grumpy X Sunshine too. Looking to make friends and discuss some reads as someone who doesn't have hours a day to devote to reading but loves it all the same.
