Jo (Malmesbury)

I'm a pre-sleep reader who likes the idea of reading the the day but never gets around to it. I tend to like crime based writing but I'll have a go at most things. I'd like to meet people locally, talk about book recommendations and chat about the book (storylines, characters) and segue into TV, life, etc, but not really into deep and meaningful!

Fantasy Book Club (Trowbridge)

I would like to start a fantasy book club in a coffee shop. I am based in Trowbridge but I'd be happy to travel to the surrounding towns. I love all things fantasy and it would be great for people to share their favourites with a group of like minded people.

This is all I love in a epic fantasy with its worldbuilding and slow burn plot. The characters are fantastic you feel for there struggles and there wins.

Clarabel 2607 (Calne)

I am in my mid 50’s. I have just given up full time work and I am loving the extra free time. Amongst other things I am getting a chance to read more. I love reading, iI can completely lose myself in a book and cannot imagine not having something to read. I love most genres, fiction is my preference but I do like historical non fiction and a good autobiography. I would love to join a book club where I can meet other book lovers and have a good chat about books.

Clarabel 2607 recommends:

Beautifully describes the landscape, the heat, the emotions experienced by the protagonists and the tension. Keeps you engaged from the first page to the last
