Looking to join a group to talk about something other than news, weather and tv!!! Love any book which takes me out of myself even if it’s just for an hour

I’m a 27 year old who’s favourite genres are fantasy, romance, thriller and most fiction written by Japanese authors (there’s just something about their writing style I just love). I’ve been living in Northumberland for over a year now after moving up from Hampshire, so my only friend at the moment is my boyfriend 🤣 I attended my first book club in Morpeth last month and would like to attend more, especially if there is one in Ashington!

I’m a 68 year old who needs to pick up a book and be so immersed in it that I can’t put it down. It would be fun to find out other people’s thoughts on the same book of choice

I really enjoy fiction and romance but I've also been reading a lot of self help and improvement books recently. I would like to meet up every week or once every 2 weeks.

Hi, I'm 29 years old and love reading fantasy romance mostly but do enjoy other genres too. I'm looking to create a book club once a week maybe after 5pm in the evening any day of the week. Ideally to make friends and chat abouts books etc, I need something outside of my kids and partner and thought this would be a good place to start.
