Hi! I’m Macy. I’m 20 years old and I’d love some friends to get some drinks and discuss a good book with. I love high fantasy. My favourite authors are probably Brandon Sanderson and James Islington. My favourite book is The Will of The Many and my favourites series is the Mistborn Trilogy. I’m also keen on romance books or romantasy 💗

I have a love for reading across a wide range of genres, though I’m especially drawn to non-fiction, history, autobiographies, romance, fiction, and classic literature. I enjoy discovering new perspectives through books and exchanging thoughts and ideas with other passionate readers. I’m looking to join a book group to connect with like-minded people, share recommendations, and explore titles I might not have picked up on my own. Beyond reading, I have a deep appreciation for classical music and often find joy in long walks, whether through the city or out in nature. I’d love to meet others who share not only a love of books but also an interest in exploring our surroundings, engaging in good conversation, and building meaningful friendships along the way.

I enjoy most genres, and I haven't found one yet that I particularly dont enjoy. I read a lot when I was younger and lost the desire as a young adult to read after leaving college and life getting busy. But recently I've re-ignited my enjoyment for reading, and love to talk about books I've read/am enjoying/want to read. However unfortunately my partner doesn't!

I read fantasy, romance and really twisted crime novels and I would love someone to just have a chat with occasionally, and maybe even buddy read. I moved down here from Yorkshire during COVID and I quickly got in the habit of being a homebody! So any new bookish friends I can make would be lovely!
