I enjoy reading a range of fiction and non fiction too, including, fantasy, folklore, nature, conservation, philosophical, travel, cooking and experiences. My favourite books include: Six Crimson Cranes, Ocean: Earth’s Last Wilderness, The Tiger and the Acrobat, A Thousand Feasts, The Living Mountain, The Lost Spells and East of the Sun West of the Moon. I’m an avid reader with a particular love for character‑driven fiction and thoughtful non‑fiction that challenges how I see the world. Books have always been my way of unwinding, learning, and connecting with new perspectives. I enjoy discovering emerging authors, revisiting modern classics, and sharing reflections with others who appreciate meaningful discussion. Would love join a book club to broaden my reading horizons, hear diverse interpretations, and contribute to engaging conversations. I’m especially drawn to stories that explore human behaviour, resilience, and identity, and I’m excited to connect with fellow readers who enjoy discussion and new recommendations.

Diana
I’m 31, mother of two super energetic boys. Don’t have many friends especially who are into reading. Would like to have someone to talk to about books and make a new friend! I read a lot of stuff but my absolute favourites are always thrillers and Romantasy. All time favourites which I would recommend are: Crimson Moth, Spark of the Everflame, One Dark Window. Currently powering through Acotar then obviously jump on TOG and CC. 😅 Favourite thriller authors are: Freida McFadden, Steve Cavanagh and John Marrs. Coffee obsessed and love to swim. If I sound like your kinda girl - don’t be shy, get in touch 😊

Grace
My name is Grace. I’m originally from South America but I’ve been living in the UK for 30 years and in Eastbourne for twelve. I work on my own which makes it difficult to meet people and make friends.I’m a total gym bunny and love anything active — walking, cycling, you name it. I’m also into foreign films, languages, reading and generally socialising. Just looking to meet other ladies, whether we share the same interests or not.

Hi, I’m Aidan, 23. I only recently got back into reading, and looking to find an excuse to do it more! I’m new to the area and looking for other people to socialise with, chat about good books and to give me some recommendations. Currently reading the Poppy War. The last few books I read were Mongrel, White Nights and the Vegetarian.
