Hi, I am a 34 year old Romantasy book lover! Although I love romantasy, I am also partial to all genres, including historical fiction, thriller and horror. I am at the point where I have exhausted all my non-reader friends with stories of Fae and dragons, so looking for a book club who won’t exhaust from book chats!

Hi, I used to be an avid reader but have fallen into a rut and I was hoping joining a book club would help. I love thrillers, drama but I'm reading a lot of African fiction recently.

The Death of Vivek Oji by Akwaeke Emezi
The Death of Vivek Oji

The story and plot is different to anything I had read in a long time and I was hooked from beginning to the last page. The writing evoked emotions in me. I mean the book is literally called the death of Vivek Oji, but when he died, I was so sad, I cried.

Curious and open minded!

Eva recommends:

Chariots of the Gods by Erich Von Daniken
Chariots of the Gods
by Erich Von Daniken | Buy this book
The ideas the author has put through in this book has made so many think so differently than the main stream narrative is just inspiring. While evidence is scattered all around the globe, they are however compiled in this little book. Very good read!
Destiny of Souls by Michael Newton
Destiny of Souls
by Michael Newton | Buy this book
The research of this extraordinary Phd Dr Michael Newton opens up to new experience for his clients as well as for people who have never stumbled upon anything like it. A truly mind blowing study with evidence to human mind and connection to something grater than ourselves.

While I am a slow reader, I love reading. Anything but fiction and the more contravercial the better the read! Would love to have someone to bounce ideas and opinions off of. Exchange book suggestions on what to read next!
