Mostly read fiction, really enjoy classics but want to get more into modern literature, and like a good non-fiction from time to time. Would like to meet at least monthly, meet people to have interesting discussions with and challenge my interpretations. Some of my favourites; Russian literature in general like Master and Margarita or The Idiot, F.S. Fitzgerald, F. Kafka, more recent obsession: Seven Moons of Maali Almeida.

It delves into that really shows the horrors of war and sheds light on many important topics such as racism, sa and sexism to name a few. I recommend looking up the tw before reading however it is a beautiful book with amazing world builders and incredibly complex characters.

I am now starting Butter by Asako Yuznki, which I was given for Christmas. Apart from Horror, I am open to most genres. I really enjoy discussing a book I have read and am fascinated by the different reactions to plots and characters.
