I’m in my late 20s, I enjoy fantasy, folklore, romance, mythology, historical and would like to branch out a bit genre wise and meet new like-minded people around my age in my area. I’d also like to push myself to read more. Once a month would be good for me, I’m freelance and have an ever-changing schedule!

The magic system is really unique and I love the gothic themes and character dynamics. There is a romance plot but it’s not at the forefront of the story, the world building doesn’t feel contrived. It’s also the first of a duology so it doesn’t get bogged down in trying to drag the story out over 3-5 books like so many others have.
