Saturday Morning Book Club

Meets at Barnabas Arts House on Run by Sarah Parry Library service We are a group of varied ages, backgrounds and literary tastes who meet in the cosy confines of Barnabas Arts House, a renovated former church once a month to discuss our latest title of choice. The Barnabas Book Club is not overly formal, these grand meetings of the bookworms are laid-back and friendly small gatherings offering ample opportunity for local literature lovers to come together to share their thoughts on the latest read. Everybody is welcome! We meet on the last Saturday morning of every month between 11:00am - 12:15pm, as Barnabas Arts House was overwhelmed with requests from all you 9-5er's with no free time during the week who could therefore not make our mid-week book club. Therefore, we have launched a slot free from the constraints of a school-run, or the tick tock of the office clock for all of you to chill out, relax and revel in the wonders of the written word. This is a friendly gathering, where all opinions are welcomed. The Barnabas Cafe will also be open with hot drinks available for purchase, where our wonderful house cook, Sarah shall be cooking up her usual marvellous menu of home-cooked meals. We meet at: New Ruperra Street, Newport, Newport, NP20 2BB Accepting new members Tags audio, ebook, talking books, visually impaired, writing
