Book clubs in Newport

Such a well written book, I loved it so much. Was sad, ocassionaly funny and blunt. Had a bit of a twist I had no way of predicting. Loved it

I loved this book for many many reasons. One of the main being the very complex yet relatable characters. The novel explores the intricacies of family relationships.

There's nothing I like better than finding a great book, unless it's finding an author who has written a series of great books. Frieda McFadden's "The Housemaid" kept me reading into the small hours. She builds suspense with the skill of an architect. She weaves small clues throughout so that the twist, when it comes, is credible and the reader is left open mouthed in a state of total belief. I can't wait to read The Housemaid's Secret. Who needs to sleep, anyway?....

I was hooked from the beginning. Character were created and developed perfectly. I didn’t think a book could take me on such a rollercoaster of emotions. Highly recommend if you’re into reading YA fantasy.
