I love stories that reward paying attention — the kind where you can dig into how things work, why characters make the choices they do, and what the setting is really saying beneath the surface. I’m looking for a relaxed, curious book club that enjoys thoughtful discussion without getting overly serious. This is supposed to be fun after all.

The writing is superb, one of the best I found in the last year. Worldbuilding is fun and not too complicated, but enough to keep you engaged. Story a bit dark, spooky and perfect for lover or gothic stories.
