Hi! I used to read in English when I lived in Ukraine, and I instilled a love of reading in my older child. When I moved to England, I stopped reading — a new country, a new language, helping the children adapt to a new place… it was hard, and it’s still hard. I try to study the language every night, but I don’t have many opportunities to practise it. The children have made good progress at school. Now the children are on holiday, and my older child has reading time, just like before. I really miss it. This will be my first time joining a book club Thank you!
