What a book! Possibly my favourite ever. A book about boredom and tedium which doesn't sound exciting but it really does deliver. Famous for a reason.

It was truly entertaining, ironically on the fantastical side, but very much enjoyed by someone who says he doesn’t favour fantasy, it was easy and relaxing. I can’t offer much more of a synopsis as I can’t remember but I recalled drifting along with the plot every night and then missing it once read.
