New Street Literary Salon
I am starting a Literary Salon on Wednesday 15th October at 7 pm (-8.30 pm) at the New Street Market. I will be presenting on a range of what might be described as Comic novels, providing some context before we discuss a selection of extracts from the novels. No admission charge. All Welcome!

BBC BENJAMIN BRITTEN BOOK CLUB
A group of nine members arrange to meet monthly at the Aldeburgh Community Library to choose and discuss books. Provided by the library, the books are chosen from a list or recommended by the group. Recently, they have read The Corrections by Jonathan Frantzen, and on June 12th,they will be discussing Joseph and his Brethren which is based locally. Relaxed and pleasant, members chat for about an hour and a half with tea and coffee available. They are open to new members and their meetings are at Victoria Road, Aldeburgh, IP155DZ.
