Holbrook HS Book Club

On Wednesdays, Anne Mathias runs a gathering of students from Year 7 to 11 at Holbrook LRC. The attendees enjoy looking at the newest fiction and books meant to engage reluctant readers, as well as Manga, graphic novels, illustrated books, poetry and jokes. They are currently participating in challenges to shadow the Carnegie Awards. The group also delights in reading Greenaway illustrated picture books with the younger children from the primary school. New members are welcome to join and should come to Ipswich Road, Holbrook, Suffolk, IP9 2QX.The group focuses on topics such as Chatterbooks, eBooks, graphic novels, talking books and visually impaired materials.
