i thought i would just make my own listing for a book club based in bournemouth! it would be nice to have members aged 20-25 but anyone can join! in terms of what we would read, i was thinking of doing polls for each book of the month with submissions from u guys (i mainly read romance, fantasy, litfic and historical fiction!) if anybody got the twilight reference for the book club name, then gold star for u :D

it's genuinely one of the best standalone fantasy novels i've read with the perfect blend of focus on characters without compromising on plot

I’m 26 and I love reading. My favourite genres are fantasy, crime and dystopian. I’m really on a fantasy kick at the moment and I’m always looking for recommendations. I’m hoping to find like-minded readers so we can share recommendations and opinions and hopefully make a few friends along the way!

Hi, I’m 21 years old. I’ve been in and out of motivation for over 7 years of reading and just gotten into it again. I’m hoping to make some friends and I would like to get some help on what to read and what is interesting to some people and what isn’t. I also like most genres, into romance/dark atm too.

Hi, I’m 22 years old and recently moved to Bournemouth. I enjoy reading and want to make it a regular part of my routine. Joining a book club seems like a great way to meet fellow book lovers and share ideas. Plus, there’s nothing better than discussing a good book over a cozy cup of hot chocolate!

Hey! I'm 24yo who just relocated to Bournemouth. I don't have specific favourite book genre as I love to explore new ones! At the moment, I'm focusing on books with some life morals, maybe some philosophy to help me nourish and contribute to my life. I'd love to have a discussion on certain topics as I'm always curious about perspectives I haven't considered. Since I work remotely it would be nice to make some friends too!

29M. A self-confessed Stephen King addict and a fan of all things thriller, horror, and crime, but I also enjoy a touch of romance and have a penchant for some satire, history and—basically, I’m open to anything! I recently relocated to Bournemouth and work remotely, so I spend a lot of time on my ownsome (mostly reading!) . I’m looking to join some local clubs and make new friends. :)

Mary

Hi there! I’m a mum, a wife, and a self-proclaimed bookaholic with a huge soft spot for all things fantasy, romance, and romantasy. When I’m not chasing after kids or managing the occasional household chaos, you’ll find me curled up with a cup of tea, completely lost in a world of magic and epic adventures. I’m looking to join a book group as I’d love to meet others who share my obsession with swoon-worthy romances, twisty plots, and stories that keep you up way past your bedtime. Plus, what’s better than bonding and meeting new friends over books, good laughs, and a few drinks about who the best book boyfriend is? 😉

Mary recommends:
