Footlights Book Club

Meets at Venue Cymru on Run by Joann Rae Library service Conwy County Borough Council - Libraries This is a new book club, run in partnership with Conwy Library Service, focusing on novels which have been adapted for cinema, TV and the stage. We’ll be kicking off with The Girl In The Spider’s Web by David Lagercrantz, which was recently on the big screen in a new film starring Claire Foy. Abergele Book Group

Meets at Abergele Library on Run by Cheryl Hesketh Library service Conwy County Borough Council - Libraries An open group for adults held in the evening. Our aim is to broaden our reading tastes and try books we normally wouldn't touch with a barge pole! We do try and read one classic, one non-fiction, one Welsh writing in English title and we've recently started to read prize winners eg Bellweather prize for fiction, Samuel Johnson prize etc. We are a lively group, long established although we have recently welcomed some new members.
