Caitlin

Looking to join a new book club! Had a fab one in London (we read food themed fiction and memoir and then cooked each other dishes from the book, 10/10) but living in Oxford now and keen to get involved. I read all sorts, particularly enjoy literary fiction, thoughtful sci-fi and some historical stuff, but have been known to read any and all genres

Set in an orphanage island for magical children, this is mix of fantasy and social justice, with a queer love story in the background. This is both funny and tender, in a lovely prose.

Kezia

My name is Kezia, I’m 31 and recently moved to Oxford from London. I am a secondary school English teacher, so I’m lucky enough to be able to share my passion for reading with the younger generation. I am really keen to meet likeminded people in Oxford, and a book club is a great way to do this, as I’m an avid reader but also very sociable.

From Norway, just moved to Oxford due to a research paper I’m writing. Have always loved reading, but fell back in love with reading last year. In Norway book clubs are not that big so I have never had the opportunity to join one, but now it’s a part of my dream while I’m in oxford
