I am looking to join or create a book club in the Hillingdon area, I like reading all sorts of genres and would a group of people I can talk about these with, share ideas and recommendations. There are times when I find a book that’s so great and I just want to share it, but my friends and family are not into reading and while they do patiently indulge me, i would love to meet like minded people, grab a coffee and share a book.

I mainly read - fiction - sci-fi/fantasy. Discworld, GoT, Robin Hobb, I prefer books written in the first person but read plenty that arent. Non-fiction I enjoy philosophy - stoicism and have also dipped my toe into some Zen budhism/meditation. I have an open mind though so am happy to take suggestions, I don’t have many friends that read - everyone seems to prefer watching Neflix etc - and feel I am missing out on having discussions and broadening my reading experience. Meeting with like minded people will help me do that.
