I'm Jess, 30 and after not reading for years, I finally picked up a book for the first time last January and haven't looked back. I'm really into Romantasy and psychological Thrillers. I've recently moved to Fowey from Wigan and would love to meet people with similar interests.

I mostly read narrative non-fiction at the moment (history, technology, psychology, philosophy, politics, true-crime, biography), but previously read lots of fiction as well (especially speculative, historical, fantasy, sci-fi, classics). I'm fairly new to Cornwall and would like to be introduced to new work by fellow readers while meeting new and interesting people.

For mind-expansion, I also like non-fiction books on pre-history, history, science, women's health, feminism, psychology, art history & poetry. Hello! I am an outdoor (and online) psychotherapist living in Hayle with my therapy dog fox-red lab Alba. I love reading all sorts of genres not just for work and therapeutic topics but a lot of personal pleasure and novels reading, non fiction, even ghost genre, Cornish period types at the moment, self help - all sorts… Just finished “13 Cornish Ghost stories” (anthology) and am on “Botanical short stories” for an exploration of anthologies… Next will be “The Cove”… but looking to find a book group/club for coffee/wine for some more in depth chats of the human condition, drama, characters of the books that are read and wishing to find the right match… :-)
