Loved the two worlds/ sliding doors aspect to the story. How one choice can change the shape of our life. What ifs! Great narrative of friendship and relationships and how they form our lives.

Donna Leon's style finds the humanity in most people and the inhumanity in the few. Highly satisfying writing about Venice, its people buildings and architecture, and its food. Immensely satisfying reads.

I got into this series through TikTok recommendations and went in not expecting much but honestly loved the books, the characters and the whole universe in which they take place in.

Beautifully written about humanity, love and pain. Set in India the main characters initially unrelated destinies cross each others paths. Thoughtful, provoking and will make you experience strong emotions.

Very funny, easy read, but gripping as well.
