Eva (Bournemouth)
Hiya, I'm currently doing a gap year in Bournemouth and would like to meet some new people to talk about books :) I'm 19 years old (soon be turning 20) and love all kind of books - especially fantasy, comics and books about psychology. I hope to make some friends to go out for a walk or go get a coffee and talk about books and other stuff :)

Saj (Poole)
Hi. I’ve been a reader all my life. I don’t have any specific genres that I enjoy more, just always got a book on the go. I mostly read books that are recommended to me. Books take me to different places, meet different people, learn new phrases and words. The joy of getting into a book and liking or disliking the characters can draw you in completely. Me, I’ve just become a grandmother and feel overwhelmed with love for this little girl. My life is full and happy. However, I’ve aways wanted to join a book club to discuss these great books. So if anyone would like an additional member or would like to form a book club with me, get in touch. Saj

David (Bournemouth)
I am looking to make contact with people who are interested in murder, mystery, detective, procedural stories. I enjoy such stories set in post-1st and - 2nd world wars; scandi-noir-esque, set in India, again, between the wars in into the 1950s. But I am willing to be guided towards new authors within this genre.

JuneAntoinette Necchi (Christchurch)
I have written two books Kissing Donna Better an ebook describing my daughter’s incurable brain tumour journey and how we found joy along the way making precious memories. My second due for publication thus weekend, The Little Stranger at Your Door tells of my wartime evacuee experiences and of the challenges of various jobs to keep a roof over my head.

After a lifetime of reading, teaching and training, I appreciate the value of being well read. A successful man once told me as a youngster "You are the product of the people you meet and the books you read" A saying I have stuck to ever since. Helping an old friend publish his books, I've encountered the world of indie authors in addition to the many well know mainstream authors.

Jemma (Sherborne)
Hello! I'm moving from SE London to the Somerset/Dorser border (near Sherborne) and would love to join or start a book club and meet some local friendly faces. My taste in books is quite eclectic, but I'm more drawn to literary fiction. Books by Iris Murdoch, John Steinbeck, Margaret Atwood and Elena Ferrante are up there in my top twenty! I also love a bit of science fiction and fantasy but I'm keen to widen my reading list and have friendly discussions about books of all kinds, preferably over a glass of wine.
